This project entailed the gut renovation of an entire floor of a historic building in Soho.

An open loft, the space has been defined largely by materials; South American cherry, antique leather, ivory lacquer millwork, glossy black plaster, natural cork and artists’ canvas all work together to define distinct areas within the apartment. The living room and library is designed as a large entertaining space with intimate seating areas linked by a continuous platform.

The apartment includes a gym and steam room of Carrara marble which are joined with a two-way mirror—this unites the space, while allowing natural light to enter the steam room. Furniture is a combination of custom pieces and vintage finds.
