Dominic Kozerski was born in London. He studied at the Bartlett School of Architecture of the University of London with Peter Cook and at the Cooper Union in New York under the late John Hejduk. After his first degree, he worked with Alfredo Arribas in Barcelona, completing several innovative bars, restaurant and nightclub designs in Spain and Japan and collaborated on the design of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 1992 Olympics. After his thesis he worked for architect Peter Marino, completing two residential projects and the first Donna Karan Collection store in London. Following this experience, Kozerski joined the Donna Karan Company to head up the store design group where he designed stores and showrooms around the world culminating in the DKNY World Flagship store on Madison Avenue in 2000 and the Donna Karan Collection Store, also on Madison Avenue in 2001. |
